Qualifications!

 

HOW DO YOU QUALIFY? Ames Ecumenical Housing, Inc. has been serving the Ames, IA community since 1984 (30 years) with our Keystone Apartments location and since 1992 (22 years) at our Stonehaven location. Offering "quality" housing for low income older adults and those with mobility impairments has been and continues to be our goal. Ames Ecumenical Housing, Inc. is funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

Those who qualify pay only 30% of their Annual Adjusted Gross income for rent.

Rental Qualifications include:

  • Low income older adults, 62 years of age or older
  • Persons with a mobility impairment that could also benefit from the unique architectural features of the apartment
  • Qualify within HUD established income limits (Please call or write for current income guidelines)

Is the Application Downloadable?

Yes! But be prepared to "download" and "fill out" multiple sections of the application. Portions of the Application MUST be filled out and initialed properly (Packet #2) prior to it's return to Ames Ecumenical Housing, Inc. for consideration.
